Boho the Clown Character Antics did a “Magnificent” performance last year for Richard H. Thornton Library Summer Reading Finale. Boho the Clown captivated the entire audience, and the audience consisted of various age groups. He performed magical tricks, and read a book which was designed to enlighten the love of reading that will last forever. Parents truly enjoyed the show and I was flooded with positive comments. Character Antics, the gut busting, amazing show, headed by BoHo the Clown, touched down at Northampton Memorial Library today. The hilarious BoHo took no time working the audience into a frenzy with his wacky antics.
BoHo wanted to grow flowers but did not exactly have all the ingredients. The kids in the audience helped him recall all that it took to grow a beautiful flower. A seed, some soil, water, sunlight, and love were the required ingredients. BoHo tried his best but kept forgetting what he should actually do in order to grow the flowers. The kids definitely helped him remember by shouting it out to him. In the end with a little help from a young audience member and a wave of a magic wand a huge bouquet of flowers sprang up instantly surprising everyone including BoHo.
Another instance had a little friend of BoHo spraying the audience with a jet of water. It came from the business end of his pet skunk! The kids shocked and amazed by the sudden jolt of water were very pleased that this skunk was not the regular smelly type, pew!
Can one actually pull a rabbit out of a hat? Certainly the wild antics of BoHo the Clown would test that theory to the fullest! With a lot of work, trial and error, BoHo finally figured it out. He called almost all the kids from the audience and gave them magical wands to help him with such a grand feat. After lots of chanting and waving a soft gray bunny appeared! The excited kids were allowed the chance to pet the soft bunny and thus ended the wild and crazy antics of BoHo the clown…until next timeBarbara Davis, Northampton Memorial Library
